Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma remain keen on RB Leipzig attacker Antonio Nusa, but the price being discussed makes a summer move difficult. The outlet adds that Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jean-Mattéo Bahoya is being assessed as an alternative, while Sport Bild had previously confirmed Roma’s interest in Nusa.

The 21-year-old Norway international is said to be open to a switch to the Italian capital. Leipzig are understood to value him at about €55 million, a figure currently viewed as too high by the club.

Leipzig were previously reported to want at least €60 million for Nusa, who arrived from Club Brugge for roughly €21 million in 2024.

The club would prefer to keep Nusa, yet the need for a significant summer sale means he is not entirely off limits. He further raised his profile at the 2026 World Cup, scoring in Norway’s round-of-32 win over Côte d’Ivoire.

Bahoya, 21, is viewed as a more affordable option, with Frankfurt said to value the Frenchman at around €30 million.

He joined Eintracht from Angers for about €8 million in January 2024, initially struggled for minutes, then emerged as one of their most exciting attackers. His pace is a standout quality, with a 37.16 kilometres per hour top speed recorded in 2024/25 that remains a Bundesliga record.

Bahoya has spoken of feeling increasingly settled in Frankfurt, helped by the club’s French-speaking group, and he was chosen to front a major pre-season PR event. Eintracht’s player-trading model means an offer close to €30 million could test their resolve.

Roma still favour Nusa, but Leipzig’s stance may push them to step up any move for Bahoya. No concrete bids for either player have been reported.
