Roma ‘to revive’ move for Vasco left-back Lucas Piton

Roma could revive their pursuit of Vasco da Gama left-back Lucas Piton as they look to reinforce the position.

According to Forzaroma.info, the 25-year-old is again on the club’s radar, with interest long-standing and now strengthened by a need to bolster the left flank. Roma director Frederic Massara is monitoring the Brasileirão and had Piton on a shortlist a year ago.

A key factor is his Italian passport, obtained through his grandparents, so he would not occupy a non-EU slot.

Since 2023 he has played 156 games for Vasco, scoring eight and supplying 26 assists.

His last appearance came on 2 December due to knee inflammation, and the issue is now in recovery. His market value is estimated at € 9 million, about R$ 57 million.
