Ruben Kluivert will miss Lyon’s Coupe de France last 16 tie against Laval on Wednesday at 20:30.

The fixture will be played at Groupama Stadium.

Paulo Fonseca said on Tuesday that the defender has a minor issue and Lyon do not want to take any risk, and that he will be ready for Nantes at La Beaujoire on Saturday at 21:05.

Lyon are already without Malick Fofana, Nicolas Tagliafico, Orel Mangala, Corentin Tolisso and Ernest Nuamah.

That trip is a Ligue 1 fixture.
