Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán will be full on Monday for Sevilla’s vital fight for safety against Real Sociedad, kick-off 21.00.
The club said in a statement that the initial batch of tickets had sold out for the match, and that further seats would only appear if season-ticket holders released theirs via the exchange. Attendance is expected to be about 40,000.
The same feverish backing that rattled Manchester United and Juventus on the way to the club’s seventh Europa League now turns to the scrap for survival.
Supporters are planning an Argentine-style welcome, urging attendees to bring cut confetti and toilet rolls to throw when the teams emerge.
Sevilla will train at the Sánchez-Pizjuán on Sunday, and the Biris have asked members to gather outside to offer a final push before the players head into camp.
