Santos name squad for Corinthians clássico with Lucas Veríssimo included | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, centre-back Lucas Veríssimo, Santos's most recent 2026 signing, has been named in Juan Pablo Vojvoda's squad for Sunday's clássico against Corinthians at Vila Belmiro, with kick-off at 16:00.

The academy graduate trained as normal in the last two sessions and will be available to the Argentine coach, leaving open the chance of a second debut.

Although a back three is possible, Veríssimo is likely to start on the bench.

The squad includes goalkeepers Gabriel Brazão and Diógenes, full-backs Igor Vinícius, Vinícius Lira and Escobar, and centre-backs Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Adonis Frias and Zé Ivaldo.

Midfielders named are Gabriel Menino, Gabriel Bontempo, Willian Arão, João Schmidt, Christian Oliva, Thaciano, Gustavo Henrique, Barreal and Rollheiser.

Forwards selected are Neymar Jr., Gabriel Barbosa, Rony, Moisés and Lautaro Díaz.
