Santos pocket 35% of gross gate in Paulistão quarter-final at Novorizontino

Santos received 35% of the gross gate, worth R$ 369,418.00, from their 2-1 defeat at Novorizontino in the one-off Paulistão quarter-final at Jorge Ismael de Biasi on Sunday 22.
According to Diario Do Peixe, recent seasons had seen profits split equally, but for 2026 visiting clubs are entitled only to 35%, and all knockout ties are single-leg at the home of the better-placed side.
The fixture drew 10,417 spectators and generated R$ 1,055,480.00 in gross revenue.
Total expenses reached R$ 475,011.61, comprising R$ 104.17 for rent and insurance, R$ 433,276.34 in taxes and fees, including the amount allocated to Santos, and R$ 41,631.10 in operational costs.
Across the season, Santos’ biggest profit so far has been R$ 804,695.11 from the 0-0 draw with Red Bull Bragantino at Neo Química Arena, which also produced the top crowd of 30,609.
Other notable takings include R$ 684,583.31 from the 6-0 win over Velo Clube and R$ 564,746.03 from the 1-1 draw with Corinthians, both at Vila Belmiro.
In the Brasileirão, the 1-1 draw with São Paulo at Vila Belmiro brought in R$ 240,744.15 with an attendance of 10,280.
