The picture is now complete: the 2026/27 Serie A 38-game fixture list has been unveiled. Here, we take a closer look at AC Milan's standout matches against the teams competing in European competitions this season.
After opening the campaign against Torino and Venezia, the season will quickly gather pace. Matchday 3, in early September, brings a trip to the Allianz Stadium to face Juventus. The two meetings between the sides in 2025/26 ended level, with a pair of goalless draws in Turin and Milan. There will be little respite after the autumn break, with October featuring two high-profile fixtures. Atalanta visit San Siro on Matchday 7 after taking important points off the Rossoneri last season, while Matchday 10 brings the first Derby of the campaign. AC Milan will be the home side, looking to build on a season in which they took all six points available against reigning champions Inter thanks to narrow victories inspired by Christian Pulisic and Pervis Estupiñan.

December features two major tests in quick succession. On Matchday 15, AC Milan travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to face Napoli, runners-up in the league last season. A week later, San Siro hosts Como, the surprise package of the previous season, and now preparing for their first Champions League appearance. The first half of the season concludes at the Stadio Olimpico on Matchday 19 against Gasperini's Roma, who finished third in last season's Serie A. The Rossoneri collected four points from the two most recent meetings between the sides thanks to a 1-0 victory at San Siro, secured by Strahinja Pavlović's goal, and a 1-1 draw in the capital. The second half of the season begins with another demanding stretch. Juventus visit San Siro on Matchday 22 before the season’s second Derby, with Inter hosting AC Milan on Matchday 24 in mid-February.
The run-in also features several potentially decisive encounters. Milan travel to face Como on Matchday 26 at the end of February, before a trip to Bergamo to take on Atalanta on Matchday 29 in March. Napoli are the final major visitors to San Siro on Matchday 32, after the last spring international break, while Roma provide the opposition on Matchday 36, with only three rounds remaining. In recent years, meetings between the two sides have often had a significant impact on the race for European qualification.
