Gonzalo Garcia’s future at Real Madrid remains increasingly uncertain, with interest in the young striker continuing to grow across Europe ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Serie A side Como have identified the 22-year-old forward as their primary attacking target and are actively exploring ways to bring him to Italy.
The club, led by Cesc Fabregas, view Garcia as an ideal addition to strengthen their frontline and could soon test Real Madrid’s willingness to negotiate.
Garcia is widely regarded as one of the Real Madrid academy players most likely to move on this summer in search of regular first-team football.
While the striker remains highly rated within the club, the intense competition for places in Madrid’s attack means opportunities could be limited in the short term.

That situation has naturally attracted attention from clubs across Europe, and Como appear determined to position themselves at the front of the queue.
In fact, according to the report, the Italian side is considering a deal similar to the one used for Nico Paz.
Such an agreement would allow Real Madrid to maintain significant control over Garcia’s future while allowing the player to gain valuable experience elsewhere.
Furthermore, the structure could include a percentage of any future transfer fee alongside a buy-back clause that would enable Real Madrid to re-sign the player if his development continues as expected.
Another possibility reportedly being discussed is a loan deal that would include an option to buy at the end of the season.

Although Como have emerged as strong contenders, they are far from alone in monitoring Garcia’s situation.
Recent reports have indicated that Borussia Dortmund have intensified their pursuit of the Spanish striker, with discussions already taking place between the German club and the player’s representatives.
Furthermore, Juventus have also been linked with the forward and continue to keep a close watch on his development.
For Real Madrid, the priority is not finding a destination for the player, but to find an agreement that protects their long-term interests.
With Como, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus all showing interest, the battle for the striker’s signature could heat up this summer.
