Raul Jimenez drew the biggest roar of the afternoon on his Molineux return, coming on during Wolves’ final Premier League home game of the season against Fulham.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves supporters had earlier unveiled a new anti-Fosun banner before the match.

The Mexico forward, initially signed on loan, became a cult hero as one of the defining figures of their eight-year Premier League stay. Wolves later paid £30m and reached the Europa League quarter-finals during his time.

He sustained a fractured skull at Arsenal in 2020, then joined Fulham in 2023 in a £5.5m deal. He has returned since, but with Wolves set to drop into the Championship this reception felt distinct.

Midway through the second half he came off the bench for the Cottagers to a rapturous welcome, with all four stands chanting 'Si Senor' in tribute.

Jimenez has consistently been warmly received at Molineux, reflecting his impact in establishing the club in the top flight.

His appearance followed a weekend social media post from his wife featuring a photograph of Wolverhampton, prompting fresh discussion among fans. Supporters have speculated in recent weeks about a possible summer move for the striker.
