Eyüpspor have submitted an official offer for Manchester United’s Dutch left-back Tyrell Malacia, who has been out of the squad since the start of the season.
The 26-year-old is not part of manager Ruben Amorim’s plans and remains listed among the club’s “bomb squad” players.
The Istanbul side are aiming to sign Malacia on loan until the end of the season. Sources close to the situation have informed StrettyNews that talks have begun, though the inclusion of a purchase option is yet to be finalised. While the transfer window in England is closed, Turkey’s window remains open, giving Eyüpspor a crucial timing advantage.
Malacia spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV, but a permanent move didn’t materialise. Earlier this summer, Manchester United also held talks with Elche, but negotiations collapsed due to disagreements over a mandatory purchase clause.
Eyüpspor’s approach is seen as a bold step to strengthen their squad and boost international visibility. With Feyenoord, PSV, and Manchester United on his résumé, Malacia brings both pedigree and market value to the table.
It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done over the next few days.

The move could be ideal for the 26-year-old defender as well. He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career, and sitting on the bench at Manchester United will not benefit him. They do not view him as a key part of their plans going forward.
Malacia will look to get his career back on track with regular football once again. He is still very much at the peak of his career, and he will look to get back to his best. It will be interesting to see if the 26-year-old is open to the move this summer.
