Spurs midfielder Ahtinen signs new deal | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Olga Ahtinen has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites this afternoon.

The 28-year-old Finnish international is set to complete her third season with Spurs after joining the club from former Swedish OBOS Damallsvenskan side Linköpings FC back in summer 2023. Ahtinen has gone on to make 55 appearances for the North Londoners in all competitions in which she has scored three goals. The midfielder was an Adobe Women’s FA Cup finalist with Spurs in 2023/2024.

Ahtinen is a key player for Spurs and the club have therefore moved to retain her services for an extended period.

After signing on again with Spurs, Ahtinen said “I’m happy that I get to be a part of the journey that we’re on. This season, we’ve really taken steps in the way we play, our day-to-day life has been good and challenging, it’s been the right place for me to become a better footballer.

“The things that we’re doing on a daily basis really show that we’re going to be able to compete. We just want to get better every day.”

Spurs complete the 2025/2026 season with a Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.
