Stach Gets 7.5, Rodon With 6.5 | Leeds United Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Sunderland

Leeds United entertained Sunderland at Elland Road earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a solid start to the game and went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Habib Diarra scored the opener for the Black Cats from the penalty spot in the 70th minute as Daniel Farke’s men crashed to a tough 1-0 loss in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Black Cats.
He failed to make a save in the game, but made one important clearance at the back.
CB: Joe Rodon – 6.5/10
Rodon put his foot through the ball when he could and won a couple of aerial duels.
CB: Pascal Struijk – 6.5/10
He made two crucial clearances inside his half and made one good chance going forward.
CB: James Justin – 6.5/10
Justin performed his defensive duties well, but it was not enough tonight.

RM: Jayden Bogle – 6/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal, but failed to impress on the right flank.
CM: Ilia Gruev – 6/10
Gruev struggled to get a foothold in the game but managed to create a good chance in the final third.
CM: Ethan Ampadu – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on both halves.
LM: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 6/10
Gudmundsson came back to defend when he could, but offered very little in the final third.
RAM: Anton Stach – 7.5/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.
LAM: Brenden Aaronson – 6/10
Aaronson failed to make a difference on the offensive end of the field.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6/10
He was quiet for most of his time on the pitch and never looked like he would score.
