Strasbourg predicted XI v Nice: Guéla Doué ill, Aaron Anselmino out

RC Strasbourg Alsace have clearly made winning the Coupe de France and/ or the UEFA Europa Conference League a priority. Qualifying for European competition next season via their league finish is looking increasingly improbable, especially in the wake of a 3-0 loss to Stade Rennais over the weekend.

Players were rested for that game. Club captain Emanuel Emegha will notably come back in when Strasbourg face OGC Nice in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France on Wednesday night. However, there will be several absences for Gary O’Neil to contend with, notably that of Guéla Doué, who misses out through illness. Aaron Anselmino, on loan from Chelsea, remains sidelined, whilst Matthis Amougou and Joaquin Panichelli are also out of the encounter.
