He continued: „We’ve already had enough beer showers. What I do know is that we’re going to let it rip today.“

What is particularly remarkable is that the Belgian is already thinking long-term: „I’m thinking about what needs to happen in the next twelve or 24 months for the team to take the next step,“ the Bayern coach revealed

Kompany knows exactly how intense the past two years have been for his team. „You mustn’t forget that we had this Club World Cup and, in terms of feeling, we’ve played two seasons without interruption,“ explained the Belgian
