Trai Hume’s £19,000,000 feels fair with scope to rise. Nordi Mukiele’s £14,000,000 looks light, Sunderland could seek £20 million with three years left. Dan Ballard at £17,250,000 is viewed nearer £20-25 million despite past injuries.

Granit Xhaka’s £6,900,000 reflects age and wages, yet he is effectively priceless and not for sale. Habib Diarra’s £30,000,000 follows an injury-hit year, with hopes a full pre-season restores form. Noah Sadiki at £30,000,000 would require £40-50 million to test Sunderland’s resolve.
