Sunderland have launched a three-tier fan membership for 2026/27, offering enhanced club content and ticket ballots as they head into their first European campaign in over 50 years.
According to Sunderland Echo, prices run from £20 to £48, sales open at 10am on Tuesday 14 July, and the scheme was shaped in consultation with supporter groups.
The £20 Season Ticket Plus tier targets existing season-ticket holders. It includes full access to club content and extra member offers, plus an away-ticket ballot for domestic and European fixtures. That ballot will be drawn from 10% of each away allocation, with fans opting in game by game, and the Black Cats points scheme remains separate.
Black Cats Adult costs £48, adding access to the season-card waiting list and a ballot for home matches across all competitions, alongside member rewards and full content. The Black Cats Academy membership is for children, priced at £30 for the first child and £20 thereafter, and includes a mascot ballot alongside adult-tier benefits.
A new club app is due later this summer to support the expanded content. Fans who join before 8pm on Thursday receive £30 off the pre-season streaming package.
SAFC Supporters Collective elected member Matthew Foreman welcomed the away ballot, saying it should give more, especially younger fans, a genuine chance to experience away days. He added that representatives were involved throughout and viewed the rollout as the club listening and acting.
