FLW details the players set to miss the West Midlands derby at The Hawthorns.
A West Midlands derby unfolds between two teams at different ends of the Championship table as West Brom host Coventry City inside The Hawthorns at Saturday lunchtime.
The Baggies are still searching for their first league win under Eric Ramsay, but will have some forward momentum heading into the contest after two creditable goalless draws against Stoke City and Birmingham City.
The Welshman will want his first three points on the board sooner rather than later though, given the Baggies still hang precariously over the bottom three, with the pressure ramped up after Blackburn Rovers and Portsmouth both earned crucial victories to aid their survival bids over the course of the last week.
Meanwhile, the Sky Blues will come into this game rejuvenated after getting back on the winning trail.
There were deep fears growing that Coventry were going to throw their promotion dreams away after a run of three games without a win saw Middlesbrough leapfrog them into top spot.
But the Sky Blues responded on Monday evening in emphatic fashion against Boro, with a Haji Wright hat-trick ensuring a 3-1 victory and lifted them back to the summit.
It’s now whether the Sky Blues can get a consistent run of form going, or Albion will spoil the party and take a giant leap towards Championship safety instead.
Ahead of what is expected to be a raucous occasion, FLW details the players who are set to miss the derby at The Hawthorns this weekend.

While West Brom could be bolstered by the timely return of defender George Campbell, the Baggies are still suffering in that area and are expected to be without the services of Chris Mepham.
The Welsh international suffered a hamstring injury in the latter stages of their goalless draw against Stoke City, and the 28-year-old has since missed their last two games against Birmingham and Norwich City.
Following their point at St Andrew’s, Baggies boss Eric Ramsay admitted to BBC Radio WM that Mepham had picked up a “moderate” hamstring issue, believing he could be out for around four to five weeks, with the end of the March international break pencilled in for his return.

Moving on to long-term absentees, Karlan Grant is expected to be missing for a significant period of time and will miss the clash against Coventry.
The former Huddersfield Town man and £15m arrival suffered a hamstring injury in the early stages of their draw with Derby County at Pride Park, requiring surgery.
It leaves Grant out for three months, but there is hope he will return to play some part of the end of their campaign.

West Brom’s final absentee is attacking midfielder Tammer Bany, who has been ravaged by injury troubles since signing for the club in February 2025.
The Jordan international is currently working his way back from a four-month lay-off after suffering a ruptured thigh injury in training at the end of December.
Therefore, he will play no part against Coventry and could well be out for the remainder of the season, in what has been a tough time since his move from Randers - he's featured just five times in all competitions since his arrival in England.

For the visitors, Coventry only have one long-term injury absentee now Brandon Thomas-Asante is set to return from his three-match suspension.
And that comes in the form of goalkeeper Oliver Dovin. Dovin has been absent for the last 10 months with an ACL injury, with Lampard stating a few weeks ago that he doesn't want to put a specific return date on the 23-year-old.
Carl Rushworth has deputised well in his absence and been one of the best goalkeepers in the division, so his injury hasn't impacted the side too much, but those at the CBS Arena will be hoping that the Swedish shot-stopper will be back soon to add crucial depth within the ranks.
