The transfer saga surrounding Noel Aseko continues to heat up. While Eintracht Frankfurt is determined to sign the 20-year-old, FC Bayern has apparently raised its asking price significantly once again.

After SPORT1 had already reported that Aseko and Eintracht Frankfurt had reached a basic agreement on a transfer, *kicker* is now also providing new details on the ongoing negotiations between the two Bundesliga clubs.

Bayern is demanding up to 15 million euros

According to the report, FC Bayern is now demanding 15 million euros for the central midfielder. This means Munich’s bottom line is significantly higher than Frankfurt’s previous offer.

The Hessian club is said to have most recently offered just over 10 million euros. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will ultimately meet in the middle or if Frankfurt will raise its offer once again.

The high asking price is also noteworthy because Aseko has not yet played a single Bundesliga match for FC Bayern.

Loan to Hannover boosts his market value

Nevertheless, the U21 national team player enjoys an excellent reputation within the club. Last season, Aseko impressed with consistently strong performances during his loan stint at Hannover 96, thereby attracting interest from several clubs.

FC Bayern now appears to be capitalizing on this development in negotiations and wants to be compensated accordingly for his increased market value. This is currently estimated at 12 million euros.

A sale would further boost Bayern’s transfer funds

Following the multi-million signings of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, transfer proceeds are of great importance to the record champions.

Bayern Munich has already taken in around 14 million euros from the sales of Daniel Peretz to Southampton FC and Jonah Kusi-Asare to Fulham FC.

If Aseko were to actually transfer for a fee in the range of 15 million euros, this would further advance sporting director Max Eberl’s sales drive and create additional financial leeway for potential future transfer activities.
