Facundo Buonanotte scored three times during a behind closed doors game held during the international break according to The Athletic.
Buonanotte was a surprise loan signing from Brighton, and the 20-year-old is expected to provide cover in the number ten position and on the right wing.
The Argentina international was one of five attackers signed this summer, and it will be interesting to see what opportunities he gets this season.
Chelsea are said to believe in the quality of Buonanotte, who spent last season on loan at Leicester City where he scored six goals and registered three assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.

It was certainly a surprise signing from Chelsea, and he will be competing with the likes of Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro in the number ten role.
What opportunities he gets remains to be seen, but The Athletic have reported Buonanotte scored three goals in a behind closed doors game during the international break.
The report adds the game was between the players not on international duty and the under-21s, and the players made a point of pulling Buonanotte to one side and congratulating him.
Whilst Buonanotte could make his debut against Brentford, Chelsea have been boosted by Cole Palmer’s return to training.
