A clutch of Leeds United squad numbers are vacant for prospective arrivals to claim this summer.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Harry Wilson is expected to join on a free after a deal was agreed, following 10 goals and seven assists last season. Leeds are also pursuing Shea Charles with bids over £20 million, and hope to tempt free agent Julian Brandt.
Wilson’s No. eight from Craven Cottage is taken at Elland Road by Sean Longstaff, but several options remain.
No. five has just opened up after Pascal Struijk’s £20 million move to Brighton. He wore five for two years.
No. 12 was Jaidon Anthony’s in 2023/24 before he returned to Bournemouth. It has gone unclaimed in the two years since, with holders including Gordon Strachan and Paul Rachubka.
No. 13 is often a back-up goalkeeper’s pick, although neither Karl Darlow nor Alex Cairns chose it. Kristoffer Klaesson vacated it in 2024, previously worn by Kiko Casilla.
No. 16 is newly free after Illan Meslier left at the end of his contract. Previous wearers include Yosuke Ideguchi and Toumani Diagouraga.
No. 17 belonged to Largie Ramazani in 2024/25 but is available after his summer loan to Valencia. He could reclaim it if he stays, although that appears unlikely. Past users include Helder Costa and Alan Smith.
No. 20 was on Jack Harrison’s back for the first half of last season before a January loan to Fiorentina. He is unlikely to be around next season, so it should stay free.
