Unbelievable teenagers ready to transform Liverpool into title winners

A pair of unreal teenage talents are in position to transform Liverpool into title winners. Get it done, Richard Hughes.

Liverpool's incredibly disappointing 2025/26 season led to the sacking of Arne Slot as head coach and another transfer window where the Reds will spend record amounts. That's the level of expectation at Anfield right now.

And that's where it should be. Liverpool have some of the best talents in world football at their disposal and the reason for that is to win the biggest trophies.

They didn't come anywhere near last season. Now they'll retool and get back to where they want to be.

One of the biggest problems with the squad was how unbalanced it was. Slot was unable to get it ticking as a result, though he didn't exactly search high and wide for answers.

But there were two clear problems: an inability to control the midfield, and a lack of genuine threat from wide positions.

Now, Liverpool hope that appointing Andoni Iraola fixes both issues at least in part. But they'll also want to invest in the right players to do it - and that might mean, quite ridiculously, two teenagers.

Not just any teenagers, of course, but two of the biggest talents in world football. The first is Yan Diomande, a player Liverpool are desperate to sign and have already bid for.

RB Leipzig turned down the initial €100m bid for Diomande but another is almost certainly on the way. The Mail is among those reporting that the player wishes to join Liverpool - it's just a case of getting Leipzig to agree on a fee.

Diomande was one of the most valuable and productive wingers in Europe last season. Despite it being literally his first full senior season, few across the top five leagues matches his output.

He's an extraordinary player and still only 19.

Then there's another incredible talent on the rader: Ayyoub Bouaddi. Fabrizio Romano is the latest to report on Liverpool's interest in Bouaddi.

The 18-year-old stole the show against Brazil playing for Morocco at the World Cup, demonstrating an ability to control a midfield at the absolute highest level. And we think the Reds may be in the best position to sign him, especially after the Athletic reported that Bouaddi wants regularly football wherever he moves.

Liverpool can give him that as they need a player like him in their midfield. Combine him with Diomande and you don't just get elite talents but you get the missing pieces of the puzzle.

Two teenager who can unlock the likes of Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak. Turning Liverpool from also-rans to title winners once again.
