Valencia CF confirm Carlos Corberán contract extension to 2028 | OneFootball

Valencia CF have confirmed Carlos Corberán has extended his contract until June 2028, a one-year renewal.

The club said in a statement that the decision is designed to cement the sporting project and that Corberán is considered the right figure to guide the team in the coming seasons.

He remains in charge with the full backing of president Kiat Lim and the executive director of Football, Ron Gourlay. Corberán has taken charge of 67 competitive matches since arriving in December 2024.

He will begin his second pre-season with Valencia CF, alongside his staff. The group will approach the coming campaigns with responsibility, commitment and enthusiasm.

The target is to improve results, something players underlined before reporting back for pre-season. The club frames the extension as part of a plan to build a competitive, consistent and stable side with a view to the present and future, aiming to return Valencia CF to its level and pursue more ambitious objectives.
