Vasco closed the FIFA international window after a major rebuild, investing about R$ 110 million.

According to PaponaColina, the club can still sign domestically until 27 March if targets played in Brazil's state championships, though Renato Gaúcho's core for the Campeonato Brasileiro is considered set.

President Pedrinho's outlay rivals the 777 Partners era, with big fees paid in instalments through 2028 to ease cash flow.

Additions were Johan Rojas on loan from Monterrey, Alan Saldivia from Colo-Colo for R$ 6.3 million, Brenner from Udinese for R$ 30.5 million, and Marino Hinestroza from Atlético Nacional for R$ 26.4 million.

Loans saw GB join Fortaleza, Lyncon and Estrella join CRB, Juan Sforza join Talleres, Maxime Dominguez join Cracóvia, Ray Breno join Juventude and Garré join Aris Saloniki, while contracts ended for Mauricio Lemos, Paulinho Paula (Internacional) and Allan Victor.
