Jordan found the decisive moment in second half of their 2025 FIFA Arab Cup semi final against Saudi Arabia taking 1-0 lead around the 66 minute at Al Bayt Stadium.

The breakthrough came against the run of play. Saudi Arabia had begun to assert greater control after the restart, circulating possession more confidently and pinning Jordan deeper into their own half.

With the score still 0-0 until middle of second half, Jordan scored the opening goal with header from Nizar Al Rashadan from perfect cross by Mahmoud Al Mardi.
