Vitoria-Gasteiz turned txuri-urdin as Real Sociedad supporters gathered at the team hotel to cheer the players before they left for the stadium.
According to Diario Vasco, a large travelling support had been expected and it duly materialised.

Dozens of Real fans made the trip to Gasteiz, creating a visible presence around the hotel.
They offered vocal encouragement as the squad prepared to depart for the ground.
The scene underlined the scale of backing for the Basque club on the road.
