Watch: Gimenez signs autographs at the hotel and explains why he chose Milan | OneFootball

Santiago Gimenez arrived at the hotel just a few minutes ago and as you would expect, many fans were present to greet AC Milan’s new striker. In addition to signing autographs, he explained why he chose the Rossoneri.

The negotiations between Milan and Feyenoord took some time, but an agreement was finally reached this morning. Gimenez jumped on a private jet this afternoon and arrived in Milan about an hour ago, arriving at his hotel just a few minutes ago.

As captured by Antonio Vitiello, many fans were present at the hotel and Gimenez even signed some autographs on his way to the hotel entrance. The journalists got a few questions in and the striker explained that he chose Milan because it’s ‘a big club, a very very big club’.

Gimenez will undergo the medical tests tomorrow morning and then, hopefully, sign his contract with Milan. The shirt number is yet to be decisive but as a result of Alvaro Morata leaving, the No.7 will be available. Perhaps Luka Jovic will depart too, in which case the No.9 would be available.
