AC Milan regained the lead on Tuesday night through Rafael Leao, and it was a much-needed goal with the game lacking any inspiration, Tammy Abraham scored minutes after to put the game effectively to bed.
Having been benched for the game, Fonseca will have likely hoped for a reaction from the Portuguese winger when he was brought into the game at the start of the second half for Noah Okafor, who had a bright opening period before tailing off slightly.
Despite a few lacklustre moments, the star showed his quality as he was played through by Youssouf Fofana, and with only the keeper to beat, the winger delicately lifted the ball over the keeper to give Milan the lead once again.
A beautiful goal. A goal that the Rossoneri needed.
The Diavolo would not be left waiting for very long for another, and Tammy Abraham latched onto a mistake from a Slovan defender and slotted the ball home, certainly a way to mark your impact, and a much-needed goal for his confidence.
