Alongside the launch of the brand new Celtic Away Kit, Celtic FC and our partners, adidas are delighted to unveil a promotional feature celebrating the fans’ commitment to following the club.

Featuring music icon and lifelong Celtic supporter, Bobby Gillespie, the ad chronicles the adventure of away days. Celtic legend, Henrik Larsson plays a leading role and lends some magic as only the King of Kings can. He joins a host of current players including captains Callum McGregor and Kelly Clark, as well as cult heroes, Charlie Mulgrew and John Collins.

You can also spot musicians and Celtic fans, Brooke Coomb and Rianne Downey, plus DJ Jasper James who all make cameo appearances in the ad. Set to Primal Scream’s classic 90’s hit Movin’ on Up, it’s a love letter to Glasgow and Celtic fans who travel all over the world to support Celtic Football Club.

Keep an eye out for easter egg content in the feature, like the Predator boots first worn by John Collins in 1994 when he famously became the first player to score wearing the iconic boot before they went on to take over the footballing world as the go-to boots for the biggest stars.

The film is a celebration of Celtic’s renewed partnership with adidas, and marks the beginning of a new, long-term extension with the culturewear giant. This partnership promises to see adidas continuing to deliver world-class designs for our first team and training wear across both the men’s and women’s squads.
