Wesley Gassova joins Real Sociedad on loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Wesley Gassova has joined Real Sociedad on loan from Al-Nassr with an option to buy. He will wear number 22, previously worn by Mikel Goti, who has moved to Córdoba on loan.

The club said in a statement the agreement runs until the end of the 25-26 season, with an option to buy. The clause is around €12 million.

Gassova is the first signing of the Matarazzo era, and the fifth addition overseen by sporting director Erik Bretos. Caleta-Car, Guedes, Soler and Yangel Herrera arrived in summer. He reached Donostia yesterday, passed his medical, then the announcement followed.

Born in Sao Paulo in 2005, he came through Corinthians’ academy. He moved into the first team in 2023 at 18, playing 84 matches in a little over two seasons, before joining Al-Nassr for €18 million.

A powerful and skilful winger, Gassova can operate on either flank. A Brazil youth international, his talent and versatility will complement the txuri-urdin attack.
