Record reports that Wolves are eyeing Estoril midfielder Jordan Holsgrove, while Harrogate Town’s Reece Smith is reportedly set for a Walsall medical.
Wolves are said to have asked about Holsgrove’s availability and the 26-year-old is valued at three million pounds.
Other suitors include Charlton Athletic and German sides Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg and Hamburg. Werder are allegedly still in talks with the former Reading youth product.
Holsgrove scored once in 35 appearances for Estoril in all competitions last season and has also had spells at Celta Vigo, Pacos de Ferreira and Olympiacos. He previously played under Wolves boss Cesar Peixoto at Pacos in 2022-23.
Smith is understood to be close to completing a move to Bescot. He missed friendlies against South Shields and Doncaster Rovers, with manager Simon Weaver saying the absence was injury-related.
The 24-year-old joined Harrogate in summer 2025 after six years at Maidenhead United, where he scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 162 games. He played 52 times for relegated Harrogate last term, contributing three goals and seven assists.
