The Wolves Former Players Association has launched a refreshed brand identity and website, designed to honour its heritage while preparing for the future.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Wolverhampton-based creative agency Sodium & Co worked in partnership on the project, delivering a refined logo, a modern visual system and an overhauled site aligned with the Association’s history.
Formed in 1988, the Association unites former Wolverhampton Wanderers players, supports them and their families, stages reunions and events, and raises funds for community causes.
As the organisation expanded, it sought a more consistent, contemporary look to communicate its purpose across digital and print, strengthening rather than reinventing what already existed.
Sodium & Co refreshed the logo, created cohesive brand graphics and built an identity to use consistently across events, publications, merchandise and online channels.
The redesigned website makes it easier to celebrate former players, follow events and learn about the Association’s work.
Sodium & Co’s creative director, Chris Green, said working with the group was a privilege and that the aim was to honour its heritage while giving it confidence and flexibility to tell its story for years to come.
Chairman John Richards said the refresh comes as the Association grows, expanding support for former players and building partnerships that help local charities and community groups. He added that clearer storytelling and information are essential, and the new identity is a major positive.
