Wolves have lined up early pre-season games, including away trips to Heerenveen and Maidenhead United, as preparations for the Championship build.

They will hold a warm-weather training camp in Portugal earlier in the summer, with no public fixtures. The club said in a statement that talks on away supporter travel and allocations for the Heerenveen match are ongoing, with information to follow.

Wolves visit Maidenhead United at York Road on Tuesday, 21 July for their first official friendly of the summer, kick-off 7.30pm. The game has been two years in the making, agreed with the Magpies as part of Max Kilman’s £40million move to West Ham in 2024.

Rob Edwards’ side then face Eredivisie club Heerenveen on Saturday the first of August at the Abe Lenstra Stadion, 2pm UK time, 3pm local.

Further friendlies are due to be added before the season begins with a Carabao Cup first round tie on the weekend of the seventh of August.
