Wolves owner Fosun reported a near 10 per cent revenue decline in 2025 to nearly £19 billion, roughly two billion pounds lower than 2024, with industrial operating profit about £438 million, according to ExpressAndStar.com.
Revenue in 2024 was £21 billion with profit around £555 million. The club posted a £15.3 million loss for 2024/25 as its latest accounts were released.
The group’s four core subsidiaries generated about £14 billion, representing 74 per cent of total revenue. Overseas revenue reached about £10.4 billion, 54.7 per cent of the total, a year-on-year rise of 5.4 per cent.
Fosun recorded a non-cash accounting adjustment of about two and a half billion pounds, largely linked to real estate values, 55 per cent, and non-core assets, 45 per cent.
The company aims in the medium term to gradually restore annual profit to around one point zero nine billion pounds and prioritise long-term growth over short-term gains.
Fosun, which bought Wolves for £30 million in 2016, has published its results during a bleak season for the club, now bottom of the Premier League with relegation to the Championship a near certainty. Wolves have posted losses for four consecutive years, last reporting a profit of £18.4 million in 2020/21, and executive chairman Jeff Shi has been replaced by interim Nathan Shi amid supporter unhappiness over investment.
