Wolves are set for bumper home backing in the Championship, with season ticket renewals closing in on 22,000, roughly matching Premier League levels and well above 2017-18.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the tally stands at 21,906, with sales expected to be capped at around 22,500. More than 1,500 waiting-list supporters have secured seats, and a few hundred go on general sale at 9am on Monday.
Season tickets in the Stan Cullis and Sir Jack Hayward Stands are sold out. Around 600 remain across the Steve Bull and Billy Wright Stands.
The surge follows the club cutting the price of every ticket by at least 25 per cent. More than 20,000 fans have renewed despite a campaign that ended bottom of the Premier League and was among the worst in recent history.
Wolves are focused on making an immediate return, and the club believe a packed Molineux would give them the best opportunity to do so.
They will learn their Championship schedule when fixtures are released at noon on Thursday, 25 June. The Carabao Cup first-round draw will also take place that day.
Players not involved at the World Cup are due to report in the first week of July, when they will meet new boss Cesar Peixoto for the first time.
