Wolves look set to need a new first-choice goalkeeper this summer, with Jose Sa likely to depart. West Brom have seen a move for Barney Stewart turned down, and Donyell Malen’s loan at Roma is set to be made permanent.

Sky Sports Austria reports that Celtic and Wolves are interested in Wolfsberger AC goalkeeper Nikolas Polster, valued at about £1.5m, with clubs in Germany also monitoring him.

The Daily Record says Albion have had a seven-figure bid for Falkirk forward Stewart rejected and have made multiple offers. The Scotland under 21 striker scored 10 goals after a loan at Dunfermline before a recall by his parent club.

Albion are also assessing goalkeeper options, with Anthony Patterson of Sunderland linked. Joe Wildsmith is expected to leave, and there is uncertainty over Max O’Leary. A return for former keeper Alex Palmer, permanent or loan, is viewed as possible.

Sky in Italy reports Roma paid a £1.7m loan fee for Malen and will owe £21.6m to buy him. The forward has impressed in the second half of the season in Rome after leaving Villa on loan a year after his arrival.
