Wolves ‘to target’ striker, Isaac Price and Josh Griffiths attract interest, Villa ‘to open talks’ | OneFootball

With the seasons over, transfer talk around Wolves, West Brom and Villa is accelerating.

Wolves defender Yerson Mosquera is said to be leaving after an agreement to sell, and is linked with Besiktas. Wolves are also keen on Coventry City striker Ellis Simms, who scored 13 in 43. The Telegraph reports the 25-year-old wants top-flight football but remains on Wolves’ radar.

Wolves are among clubs eyeing former Leicester midfielder Jordan James, who scored 11 on loan from Rennes. Leicester went down and James returned to Rennes, with Leeds and European clubs complicating any deal.

PSV winger Couhaib Driouech is also linked, with Club Brugge, Royal Antwerp and a Spanish side interested.

At Albion, Isaac Price is attracting Premier League interest after nine goals in his first full season. Fulham, Crystal Palace and former club Everton are looking at the midfielder.

West Brom are in the mix for Spurs midfielder Alfie Devine after a loan at Preston. Preston triggered a £5m option but he has yet to agree, and Middlesbrough are also keen.

Keeper Josh Griffiths is linked with Stoke as Viktor Johansson’s replacement. He lost his place to Joe Wildsmith then Max O’Leary and has 12 months left.

Villa have been linked with former Barcelona defender Oscar Mingueza, with Juventus also keen and Villa frontrunners.

In Türkiye, Villa are preparing to open talks with Galatasaray over Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara, with a €35m fee mooted and the player said to be keen.
