World Cup: Switzerland start Bundesliga quartet as Davies on bench for Canada | OneFootball

Johan Manzambi gets his first World Cup start against co-hosts Canada after helping Switzerland to a late win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on matchday two. SC Freiburg's central midfielder is joined by fellow Bundesliga stars Gregor Kobel, Nico Elvedi and Luca Jaquez in Murat Yakin's lineup.

The first duo played every minute so far, while Stuttgart’s defender made his World Cup debut as a late substitute in the last game. Jaquez replaced Mainz's captain Silvan Widmer in the only change from the back four that started the 4-1 victory.

As for Canada, ex-RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch could use FC Bayern superstar Alphonso Davies off the bench for his tournament debut.
