The emergence of Gonzalo Garcia as an option for the centre-forward position at Real Madrid has cast doubts over the future of Endrick.
Gonzalo has been one of the biggest positives for Los Blancos at the FIFA Club World Cup, showing great signs under Xabi Alonso.
It has given way to speculations about Endrick’s continuity and the possibility of a loan departure this summer so that he can continue playing regularly and develop.
However, in a fresh update, journalist Jorge Picon now reports that Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso is considering the idea of using Endrick in a new role next season.
The 18-year-old Brazilian happens to be a pure centre-forward but Alonso is thinking of utilising him on the right wing in what would be an intriguing move.

Throughout his career at Real Madrid and Palmeiras, Endrick has played only five times as a right-sided winger, but has one goal from the position.
With Rodrygo likely to leave this summer and Arda Guler being utilised in a central role, there may well be room for Endrick to play on the right flank.
Successful adaptation to the position could be key for the Brazilian international to continue at Real Madrid this summer instead of a potential departure.
Having recovered from his muscle injury, Endrick has joined the Real Madrid squad in the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup.
It remains to be seen if he gets a chance at the tournament or if Alonso opts to ease him back into action. But it appears that the manager is not entirely discarding him as an option and has plans to integrate him into the squad.
