Yuri Alberto voted Corinthians’ player of the month for March | OneFootball

Yuri Alberto has been voted Corinthians’ player of the month for March. According to Meu Timao, the forward was chosen by supporters through the outlet’s Notas da Torcida ratings, alongside editorial criteria.

Across the month he featured in two matches and posted an average score of 7.2. He played in the 0-0 draw with Chapecoense and the 1-1 draw with Flamengo in the Campeonato Brasileiro, and scored Corinthians’ only goal in those games.

Kaio César registered the highest individual average for March, 7.3, but appeared only once. The award therefore went to Yuri Alberto, who met the minimum participation threshold of at least 50% of the team’s fixtures that month.

In the month’s rankings, he finished ahead of Hugo Souza and Memphis Depay, each on 4.1.

With Yuri Alberto available, Corinthians face Fluminense at the Maracanã on Wednesday, 1 April, in the ninth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Dorival Júnior’s side are seeking to stop a run of seven games without a win.
