Aaron Ramsey and Harry Souttar back in training, Leicester now have three sidelined players | OneFootball

Speaking after the 2-0 win over Bristol City, Gary Rowett said patience will be needed on the comebacks of Aaron Ramsey and Harry Souttar, even though both are back in training.

As reported by LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Ramsey has been back on the grass at Seagrave this week and Rowett confirmed that Souttar has joined him.

Ramsey has not played since the final game of 2025, when he pulled his hamstring four minutes after coming on in the win over Derby. That was only his third appearance back after a two-month absence.

Souttar has not featured for 15 months. He took a year to recover from an Achilles tear, then underwent minor knee surgery in January.

Rowett indicated neither is likely to reappear in the squad imminently. He wants them back, but stressed the need to manage their returns so that when they do come back, they can stay back.

With Ramsey and Souttar now training, Leicester have only three players sidelined, Asmir Begovic, Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen.
