Leeds United locked horns with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites made a great start to the contest as they scored the opening goal in the 13th minute when Lukas Nmecha scored with an excellent strike. However, the home side drew level just a couple of minutes later thanks to Ibrahima Sangare’s effort. Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Morgan Gibbs-White gave Nottingham the lead in the 68th minute before Elliott Anderson killed the game off from the penalty spot in injury time. The match finished with Leeds United suffering a disappointing 3-1 loss away from home.
