AKRON Stadium is now a Cardio-Protected Space | OneFootball

As AKRON Stadium continues its preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and to guarantee its commitment to the safety and well-being of all fans, it has been designated a Cardiac Care Facility (or Cardioprotected Space), a distinction endorsed by the Jalisco Government's Emergency Medical Care System (SAMU).Amaury Vergara, president of Chivas and Estadio Guadalajara, along with Pablo Lemus, Governor of Jalisco, unveiled the plaque recognizing the efforts made to ensure the facility complies with the guidelines established by the General Health Law of the State of Jalisco. These efforts include the installation of Semi-Automatic External Defibrillators (SAEDs) in areas with large concentrations of people, as well as having personnel trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques."Every action we take as a group has objectives such as inspiring Mexico and improving people's quality of life.
