Deportivo Alavés will again charge for entry in the Copa del Rey, continuing the policy for the quarter-final with La Real. Tickets are on sale and prices for season-ticket holders remain the same as in the ties against Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano.
According to AS, the tie will be played on Wednesday four February at nine pm. Season-ticket holders can keep their seats, and the club would be expected to again offer the option to release them for general sale.
Arabako Garrasia, the supporters’ section, is priced at 12 euros, Polideportivo and Cervantes cost 15 euros, Preferente 17, and the main stand 19. Children go free when entering with their card.
The requirement to pay had already annoyed albiazul platforms such as Gurea-Da, which brings together Accionistas Albiazules and La General.
Coudet’s side have knocked out Getxo, Portugalete, Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano to reach the last eight.
Both meetings with top-flight rivals were at Mendizorroza and, on each occasion, attendance did not reach 10,000. Weeknight scheduling, late kick-offs and the cold were clear obstacles, and it is hard to take children when school follows.
