Ana Vitória on BID, set to play for Corinthians at Club World Cup

The midfielder Ana Vitória had her name published in the Daily Information Bulletin (BID) of the CBF this Friday (23) and is officially cleared to play for Corinthians this season. With the registration completed, the player can now be used by the technical staff in the FIFA Champions Cup, the Women's Club World Cup.

The debut of the Brabas in the international competition is scheduled for January 28, when Corinthians faces Gotham FC from the United States at 9:30 AM (Brasília time). The match will be held at GTech Community Stadium in London and is worth a spot in the tournament final.

Signed at the beginning of 2026, Ana Vitória arrives at Parque São Jorge after a stint with Atlético de Madrid, Spain. The player was integrated into the squad to strengthen the midfield, especially in the role of a midfielder, and signed a contract with the club until the end of 2028.

This will be the athlete's second stint with Corinthians. Between 2017 and 2018, Ana Vitória played 57 matches wearing the black and white jersey, scored eight goals, and won two important titles: the Brazilian Women's Championship and the Copa Libertadores.

After leaving the São Paulo club, the midfielder built a career in European football, playing for Paris Saint-Germain, France, before transferring to Atlético de Madrid. Meanwhile, she also joined the Brazilian National Team, participating in the 2023 World Cup and the squad that won the silver medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Ana Vitória is part of the group of reinforcements signed by Corinthians for the current season. Besides her, the club announced forwards Rhaizza and Uruguayan Belén Aquino, Argentine defender Agustina Barroso, and Colombian midfielder Paola Garcia, who is still awaiting registration in the BID.
