Corinthians beat Atlético-MG 1-0 at Neo Química Arena on Sunday in the 17th round, a night that marked a milestone for André Carrillo. The Peruvian reached 94 appearances, drawing level with Casemiro in 10th among the club's foreign appearance makers.
The midfielder began on the bench and replaced Breno Bidon on 36 minutes of the second half. In nine minutes he had eight involvements and completed six of seven passes, 86 percent. As reported by Meu Timao, he joined in September 2024 at the request of then coach Ramón Díaz after leaving Al-Qadisiyah.
Announced quietly alongside Memphis Depay, he quickly became key, helping haul Corinthians clear of the 2024 drop zone to reach the Libertadores and starring in the 2025 Paulista win, which earned a deal through 2026 and a Peru recall.
With Maycon back and André Luiz emerging, the 34-year-old has alternated between starts and the bench in 2026. Across 94 outings he has 59 starts, a record of 49 wins, 23 draws and 22 defeats, plus six assists and three goals, along with the 2025 Copa do Brasil and 2026 Supercopa do Brasil.
Ahead of Carrillo and Casemiro on the foreign list are Fausto Vera 96, Víctor Cantillo 118, Bruno Méndez 119, Paolo Guerrero 130, Rodrigo Garro 132 and José Hungarês 138. The top three are Freddy Rincón 158, Fabián Balbuena 167 and Ángel Romero 377. He could add to his tally on Wednesday at 21:30 when Corinthians host Platense in the Libertadores group finale.
