It's been casualties galore in north London this season, with Arsenal joining Tottenham's injury party.
After Martin Odegaard missed two months in the autumn with an ankle issue, Ben White underwent knee surgery in November and Bukayo Saka tore his hamstring just before Christmas. Minor setbacks for an array of players have hindered Arsenal in between, with the Gunners struggling to match their pre-season expectations.
Plenty has conspired against Mikel Arteta's side this term, there's no doubt about that, and two domestic cup defeats at home in the space of a few days has angered a fanbase desperate for a return to glory. They've come ever so close under Arteta, but 2024/25 has been a campaign of stagnation so far.
The Arsenal boss will hope that Wednesday's north London Derby ignites a stuttering season which isn't dead yet. However, he'll have to make do without several key players. Here's the latest Arsenal injury news ahead of the derby.

Riccardo Calafiori has endured multiple injury setbacks since joining the club, and a muscle issue kept him out of Sunday's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
Myles Lewis-Skelly's emergence at left-back has mitigated the Italian's availability woes, and the teenager may be required again on Wednesday. Arteta, though, has confirmed that Calafiori's muscle injury isn't serious and he could be back for the derby.
There were also a few concerns over Jurrien Timber after he hobbled off at the weekend with a potential hamstring issue. The Dutchman has been forced to play a lot of minutes with Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu out of action for the long haul having missed much of his debut season with a torn ACL.
However, Timber should be fine to start against Spurs with Arteta saying that the defender was merely struggling with cramp on Sunday.

Jorginho was unable to take a penalty in Sunday's shootout because of an injury sustained in extra time, but like Timber, the Italian won't be out for a sustained period of time. He, too, was struggling with cramp.
However, the veteran midfielder is unlikely to be involved from the outset on Wednesday with Declan Rice and Thomas Partey available. Rice was suspended for the reverse fixture which meant Jorginho started at the base of midfield.
Youngster Ethan Nwaneri had been used as a Bukayo Saka alternative before he picked up a muscle injury at Brighton. The teenager will not be back until the end of January at the earliest.

Gabriel Jesus' rotten luck in Arsenal colours has continued. Jesus has never been the same since he suffered a knee injury at the 2022 World Cup, and it now looks like he'll be out for much of 2025 after tearing his ACL against Man Utd.
Arsenal are also without superstar winger Bukayo Saka after he underwent hamstring surgery at the end of 2024, but Raheem Sterling was back in action at the weekend having recovered from a knee injury.
