Wolves will also look at Fer Lopez ahead of their Championship campaign, and he could stay despite earlier indications from the player and Celta Vigo about remaining in La Liga.

Rangers are set to look elsewhere rather than extend Nasser Djiga’s loan from Wolves. The defender played plenty of minutes but came under fire during a poor end to the season.

West Brom have offered Josh Maja a new deal after 43 appearances and six goals last term, following 10 in 16 the year before. Celtic and Rangers are monitoring him, with no suggestion of a contract on the table in Scotland.

Valencia plan to ramp up their interest in Villa’s Andres Garcia after an approach was turned down in January. He has featured for only 109 minutes across eight matches this season.
