Ashley Lawrence has left Chelsea to join OL Lyonnes after two seasons at the London club.
The WSL champions confirmed Lawrence's departure in a statement today ahead of the player's return to French football.

Canadian international Lawrence initially joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 and went on to play 60 times for the club in all competitions, chipping in with three goals. During her time at the club Lawrence lifted the WSL twice and also the FA Cup and League Cup as part of a domestic treble in the 2024/25 season.
Lawrence's exit paves the way for Australian defender Ellie Carpenter to make the opposite move with the 25-year-old expected to join Chelsea shortly.
