Ayoube Amaimouni and Bilal El Khannouss have been named in Morocco’s 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

According to BuLi News, Eintracht Frankfurt’s breakthrough midfielder Ayoube Amaimouni was called up after a remarkable rise. The 21-year-old was playing fifth-tier Oberliga football with SpVgg Erkenschwick two years ago, then joined Frankfurt on two January 2026. He contributed three goals and two assists in 17 Bundesliga games this season.

He will be joined by compatriot Bilal El Khannouss of VfB Stuttgart. The 22-year-old has just signed permanently for the club and played 41 games in all competitions, providing nine goals and five assists.
