Balogun, Kehrer, Thomasson, Thauvin lead Monaco and Lens in Ligue 1 team of matchday 25

Monaco and Lens dominate the Ligue 1 team of matchday 25 after statement wins, Monaco beating PSG 3-1 at the Parc des Princes on Friday and Lens easing past Metz 3-0 on Sunday.
According to L'Équipe, Monaco contribute three players to the XI, plus head coach Sébastien Pocognoli. Goalkeeper Philipp Köhn, who made five saves, earns his first selection, and Pocognoli was rated 9. Thilo Kehrer, rated 8, is included for the second time, as is Folarin Balogun after a goal and an assist.
Lens, one point behind PSG, also supply three names. On the left is Matthieu Udol, who produced one assist and has shone this season. In midfield, Lens captain Adrien Thomasson also set up a goal and is the league’s leading assister, while Florian Thauvin is picked for a fourth time after scoring again.
Two debutants join them. Paris FC right-back Adama Camara won seven duels against OL in a 1-1 draw, and Angers winger Amine Sbaï struck a fine winner at Nantes in a 1-0 success.
Valentin Rongier, also a former Nantes player, makes his fourth appearance after providing an assist in Rennes’ 4-0 win at Nice. That is one more than Brest centre-back Junior Diaz and two more than Marseille winger Paixao.
